Terms
Terms of service
The proposed rules for accounts, reviews, publication, and paid access.
These draft terms describe the proposed relationship between you and Haven Web Design LLC, the operator of ShowNoise. Questions: support@shownoise.com.
Eligibility and account responsibility
You must be at least 18 to create an account and have authority to act for any performer or organization you represent. Keep your sign-in information secure, provide accurate account information, and invite only collaborators you trust. Workspace Owners, Admins, and Members have different permissions; a workspace role does not give platform-administrator access.
Reviews and publication
Submit only genuine accounts of your own experience. Do not impersonate someone, fabricate a review, misrepresent a rating, or include content you lack permission to use. Publication and permission to contact a reviewer are separate choices.
Performers are responsible for deciding what to publish, checking publication permission, keeping attribution accurate, and ensuring edits do not change the reviewer’s meaning. Review original text remains retained in the application. Published ratings reflect the published selection and must not be represented as an independent score of all feedback.
Content rights
You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload and publish text, images, and performer details. This draft does not transfer ownership of a reviewer’s words to a performer. The final agreement must define the limited license needed for ShowNoise to host, process, display, and deliver authorized content, including public API and widget distribution.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service for unlawful, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, infringing, or deceptive content.
- Do not buy fabricated reviews, condition incentives on a favorable rating, or hide material relationships when disclosure is required.
- Do not send unsolicited bulk requests, ignore opt-outs, or use someone else’s contact details without an appropriate basis.
- Do not bypass rate limits or security checks, attempt unauthorized access, expose private data, or use embeds/API access to evade content removal.
- Do not upload confidential or sensitive personal information unrelated to the review.
Plans and payments
Planned Free access includes 1 widget and 10 published reviews. Planned Paid access costs USD $10 per month per performer workspace and includes unlimited widgets and published reviews, with optional ShowNoise widget-branding removal. Technical limits and anti-abuse rules still apply. Pricing identifies whether purchasing is available.
When billing is activated, Stripe handles checkout and the customer portal. Monthly subscriptions renew until canceled. Checkout displays the amount due and any applicable tax before payment. Promotion codes are subject to their stated eligibility, redemption limits, and duration.
Cancellation and refunds
Payments are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. Cancel renewal through the Billing page’s Stripe portal. Under the planned cancellation policy, paid access continues until the end of the paid period, then the workspace returns to Free. Cancellation does not automatically delete your account or content.
Choose the widget and published reviews to retain before a downgrade. Extra widgets are disabled and excess reviews become Pending, not deleted. A later upgrade does not automatically republish them. The payment-failure policy and any grace period remain subject to owner approval before billing launches.
Availability, removal, and support
The service may experience interruptions. Public content uses short-lived caches, and previously loaded or externally copied content may persist after removal. Report account problems, content concerns, or rights requests to support@shownoise.com.
Final terms must define when accounts/content may be restricted or removed, notices and appeals, account termination, data retrieval/removal, warranties, liability, and dispute handling. Those provisions are not finalized by this draft.
Privacy and final approval
Read the draft privacy notice for data handling. The effective date, governing law, applicable consumer protections, business notice address, and acceptance mechanism will be confirmed before these terms take effect.
